At Back Paddock we have these three beautiful pillars that have been around since the beginning of time, those of Integrity, Innovation and Mateship. For the last few years, we’ve really leaned on that Innovation pillar, as suddenly so many bright and shinies came out of the wood-work answering a need and doing it really well. Where did that leave us? To be honest, this is a question we keep circling back to.

For a while, we got caught up in it. Suddenly there was competition which didn’t exist previously, there were big companies with lots of cash thrown into the mix and the landscape of Aussie agriculture and ag-tech changed. All of a sudden every man, dog, tree stump and bit of bent wire was transmitting a signal to who-knows-where. Fridges starting texting that they were low on milk, farming equipment started to contact the manufacturers for replacement parts and zero-beer was sold with pies at servo’s. This was a new world and it was moving FAST. 

And so we circle around. Our Innovation pillar has taken a heavy load this last few years while we jumped through hoops made of techno-bubbles wrapped in code in 65 different languages. We’re not sure about you, but we’ve decided to take a bit of a rest on our other pillars, Mateship and Integrity. We’re giving these other fella’s a chance to catch up, take a breather, take a load off. So, to all of our existing patrons, we say a big THANK YOU. We wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for you. To our completed students, CONGRATULATIONS on your new training certificates, we are so happy to have studied with you.
